Thursday evening group meditation sessions consist of a guided meditation (30 minutes), a five-minute break, a dharma talk by the teacher (25 minutes), and then Q & A/Discussion (30 minutes).
Adults of all experience levels are welcome to attend. Meditation instruction will be given for beginners. Chairs, floor cushions, and blankets are available.
The session begins promptly at 7:00 pm. If you are more than five minutes late, please meditate in our foyer and come in the room during our break.
The suggested minimum donation is $10, but no one is turned away for lack of funds.
Group Meditation Guidelines
- Arrive several minutes early. If you are less than five minutes late, please enter the room quietly.
- Leave your shoes in the shoe rack just inside the door in the foyer.
- No cell phones.
- Please be conscious of environmental sensitivities: no perfumes, colognes, essential oils, or scented products.
