Sunday morning meditation sessions begin with a self-led meditation (40 minutes). After a five-minute break, we view a video dharma talk by a noted teacher, such as Jack Kornfield or Tara Brach. Afterwards we share our thoughts in a group discussion for about 20 minutes. (No one is obliged to share.)
Adults of all experience levels are welcome to attend. Meditation instruction will be given for beginners. Chairs, floor cushions, and blankets are available.
The session begins at 10 am and ends at 11:30 am.
The suggested minimum donation is $10, but no one is turned away for lack of funds.
Group Meditation Guidelines
- Arrive several minutes early. If you are more than five minutes late, please meditate in our foyer and then join the group during our break.
- Leave your shoes in the shoe rack in the entry way.
- Silence or turn off phones.
- Please be conscious of environmental sensitivities: no perfumes, colognes, essential oils, or scented products.
