Noah Levine is considered by many as something of a rock star in the Buddhist Meditation world.
With a troubled background riddled with addiction and imprisonment, Noah was able to learn and practice Vipassana meditation as an important tool in his healing process.
Besides being a well-known Buddhist teacher, Noah is also a counselor and author of the book, Dharma Punx.
He was trained to teach by Jack Kornfield of Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, California. He also lists the 14th Dalai Lama, Thich Nhat Hanh, Ram Dass, Joseph Goldstein, Sharon Salzberg, Norman Fischer, and Sylvia Boorstein as his teachers.
Noah teaches meditation classes, workshops and retreats nationally, and he also leads groups in juvenile halls and prisons. He holds a masters degree in counseling psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
