Title: ‘Bringing Our Practice into the World’:

Talk description: ‘Buddhist teachings are often seen as about removing
ourselves and seeking inner peace far from the world’s difficulties. In fact,
the Buddha’s teachings of mindfulness, compassion, equanimity, and other
beneficial qualities of heart and mind can help us break down the
separation between self and others and help us engage with the world’s
challenges with compassion, courage and wisdom. We’ll explore how our
practice can support us in the these challenging times. The talk will be
accompanied by a guided meditation and time for sharing and Q&A.’
