Residential Silent Retreats
Silent retreats are an excellent way to deepen and fortify your practice. You have the opportunity to maintain mindfulness full-time while residing in a beautiful setting, away from the continual demands of your daily life. Retreat participants often report significant insights and growth from this extended immersion into mindful living.
2017 Residential Meditation Retreats
Friday, April 7th – Sunday, April 9th, 2017
Most people’s inner wisdom gets drowned out by today’s fast-paced demanding world. Amidst silent beauty, we will practice meditation and other contemplative practices to help us reconnect with our innate wisdom. We will also be cultivating a profound awareness and acceptance of “things as they are.” We will find, within each moment, a deep current of peace and profound contentment, as well as an abiding wisdom to help guide us on life’s precious journey. In our increasingly fast-paced, technological world, developing and deepening “Embodied Presence” is becoming one of the most important challenges or “dharmas of our times” for both beginning and experienced practitioners.
Led by teachers Heather Sundberg and Ronya Banks, the Embodied Heartfelt Presence retreat will allow us to dive into the direct experience of being embodied with playful, curious and joyful spirits. We will explore! More about the Embodied Heartfelt Awareness retreat »
Wednesday, October 18th – Sunday, October 22nd, 2017
Cultivating the capacity to be resilient during challenging times is an important part of spiritual practice. During this retreat, we will use Buddhist teachings and meditation practice to work with adversity such that it is NOT a problem. Adversity can open the door to your true spiritual nature – a nature endowed with peace, love, and connection to all! More about the “Resiliency with Adversity and Beyond” retreat »
