Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation technique that promotes deep relaxation. It literally translates as “yogic sleep.” One hour of Yoga Nidra equates to about six hours of deep REM sleep.

Participants lie or sit in a comfortable position for the duration of the meditation. The meditation techniques include the following:

  • Grounding techniques
  • Body scans
  • Image visualizations
  • And more…

The whole amazingly relaxing practice lasts about 45 minutes, leaving 15 minutes or so for questions, comments and sharing.

Lia Curtis Fine, RYT

Lia Curtis Fine is a yoga teacher who lives and breathes the practices of yoga and meditation and makes time for her practice every single day. Lia is RYT-200 and is currently pursuing her 500HR certification.
